Βρίσκεται ανατολικά της Σαντορίνης με την οποία και αποτελούν τα νοτιοανατολικότερα νησιά των Κυκλάδων, και απέχει από τον Πειραιά 150 μίλια. Πρωτεύουσα του νησιού είναι η Ανάφη (Χώρα), και βρίσκεται στο νότιο τμήμα. Κύριο λιμάνι του νησιού, είναι ο Άγιος Νικόλαος. Το σχήμα της Ανάφης μοιάζει με κώνο, λόγω του δυσανάλογου ύψους του βουνού Κάλαμος (460 μ. υψόμετρο), που βρίσκεται στο κέντρο περίπου του νησιού. Anafi is a little island that lies outside the mainstream, being the totally opposite to the famous island of Santorini. Anafi opens the gate to a slow-paced traditional lifestyle alongside with striking Cycladic landscapes and small and serene hotels. It is like going back in time, when life used to be simpler and easier.
